This pension funding calculator is to be used as a guide only, to estimate pension funding levels to reach maximum retirement benefits. It does not constitute an expected valuation of pension funds, or an exact pension funding requirement. The calculator assumes an average net fund growth of 4.75% per annum. Both salary and pension contributions are assumed to increase by 3% per annum. Retirement income is based on retirement annuity rates as of Feb 2007. These rates will change over time and retirement income will depend on the pension annuity rates, at retirement age.
